hellow to all

I started to use ftp wanderer 2.8
When I upload a file and this file exist on server if I accept to override then file is deleted on server but new is not upload.
Refresh list on server shows a new file which name is composed by radomlycharacters.
I should remove this file and retry upload.
If file not exist on destination always upload correctly.
There is any way to upload files without file checking and removing from server to upload with no problem?

thanks for your help

Do you have this behaviour with all FTP servers you're connecting to?
I never experienced this behaviour myself (I use FTP Wanderer to update and maintain this website on a daily basis), and can't reproduce it.

I think I found reason for upload problems.
I tested some servers with no problem also my server.
Problem is when I use my portable with wireless conection. Conection is protectec by a 128 bit encription.
May this produce a transmition lost for some packets?

regards

I do not think packets will get lost using a portable wireless connection, but since the problem is only with one server it might also be a permission issue. You can you try out Pablo Commander (my other FTP client) and see if that works.

I checked Comander and all was fine.
After that I checked one time more with FtpWanderer and also works fine.
As you suppose all may be problems with server or traffic.

Suggestion add refresh to Comander (F5 don't work).
List on ftp server only was updated after folder change.
FtpWanderer do it automatically.

thanks for your help.

Commander uses different keyboards shortcuts, because F5 is used for the copy command:
Ctrl+L (Left Refresh) and Ctrl+R (Right Refresh)
