|
|
Greetings,
I am just starting with PHP/MySQL and of course, Apache is the server of choice in in this realm. I haven't used Apache but I've heard it isn't very user friendly whereas QnE Web Server is just that.
Nevertheless, I wonder what I'm missing; can anyone tell me from experience if Apache isn't that bad and perhaps has more features than QnE Webserver?
Thanks |

It depends what you are looking for. If you want a small portable server whihc is quick and easy to setup then Quick 'n Easy Web Server might be good for you.
Quick 'n Easy Web Server is able to run directly from cd or usb stick and natively supports ASP, SSL and can also runs PHP or there CGI apps.
Apache is more difficult to setup and is 10 times larger, but probably has more advanced features.
I suggest you try them both and see what works best for you. |
