I don't know a lot about Servers, but could you put me right on some
questions I have...
1. If I wanted to have my own server, which would host my website/emails
etc. would your software do this?
2. If I eventually wanted to host my website and others. will your
software do this?
3. What specifications do I need to start one off?
4. What level of experience do I need?
5. If hosting services do I need to register to any other company,
before offering my services on my own server?
I hope that you help me out.
Thank you David |

1.
a) You can use Quick 'n Easy Web Server to host your website.
b) You can use Quick 'n Easy Mail Server as incoming/outgoing email server.
2. Yes
3. The most important issue is, does your ISP allow you to do this?
Do you have a static IP address?
Ask your ISP for more details.
Demo versions of all applications are available on this website.
4. You need to be able to install and configure the applications.
Use the internet to learn the basic of servers and of course read the help of our applications!
5. I guess you want your own domain names etc. So contacting a specialized company should get your started with that.
My friends from www.vodahost .com might be able to help you further. |
