Since a few days I can't visit my website anymore. It's on a server on a different location, i.e. IP address, and I can't get there anymore.
Other poeple can still visit the site(s)

I get the message displayed below.
Does anyone know what this means?

Maybe there is a firewall issue?
Or the browser's security settings prevent you from accesing the website?
I do not think the error is directly related to the server, there must be an external problem which is cuasuing thsi behavior.

Then other people have this problem.
I see it a few times in my log.
I think it is Windows XP related.

There are no known problems.
How can we reproduce this?
Did you try to run the server on another computer. I suspect it's the firewall/virusscanner which interupts the connections.

The server works just fine. I get about 100 visitors per day.
I can also reach the site from the office PC, so behind the network on which the server is working.
I actually did reach the website for months from my home, until about two weeks ago.
I cannot reach any of the websites that are hosted on the server from home.

It's think the problem is Windows XP professional related.
(On the log I see that some visitors get the same error message and are rejected)

If it previously worked without any problems then somthing must have changed. Maybe you've installed a new patch or other software?

I'll check, but that leaves the fact that other people get the same message.
I'll get back to you if I find out what it is.

No changes on the server.
Checked at home and deinstalled some XP security updates.
No change. Very strange.

All other PC's behind the router at home work fine so it is really not your software. I'll try to figure out where it went wrong.
I feel it's XP Professional...
