remote access difficulty with send mail

SMTP IP confirmed, read mail ok, will not send. Watched QnE log when
attempt is made, no log entries are shown. Local send works. Server is not connected thru a router. Single domain on that IP, there was another domain which was moved, but did not solve problem. Using Outlook to send/receive.

Maybe your ISP blocks the SMTP port?
If no entries are shown in the log this means that no connections where made.

Checked with ISP, ports are not being blocked. Something keeping
ip from being recognized, will update when I find problem.

Maybe your router/firewall is not forwarding the SMTP port?
