Automating email sends

Post by dixon_pete » Mon May 07, 2007 4:51 am

I look after a CRM for a organization with a bunch of related offices. I'd like to use a program to write emails based on a database and request feedback from the recipient.

If I drop a properly formatted email message in the queue folder will it be sent out? I own and use the QnE Mail Service for my web sites so that part is up and running without issue.

I tried using this as a sample of the EML file to drop in the QUEUE folder. The log came back saying "Unable to determine recipients"

Yes, files dropped in the queue folder will get picked up by the server automatically, but you must include the correct header values:

x-sender: <pablo@mailserver.com>
x-receiver: <pablo@mailserver.com>
